
Kettle Falls Trap Team placed first in a preseason shoot in Oroville this past Saturday. Brody Stulken was the overall highest scorer.


The FFA sent a team to a Forestry competition. They competed in tool identification, map reading, and basic orienteering. The team had a great time and for their first competition they did great.







Forestry class was outside doing a lesson outside on orienteering. They were finding directions to locations around campus based on headings and pacing.

The final home football game was Friday the 18th. We combined senior night for all the fall sports with a mini cheer camp. The guys played a tough game against Colfax but came up short in the end.










Our classes played dodgeball earlier this week. Matt Stephens, our school security officer, continually builds relationships with our students to increase school safety.

Monster University Monday. Monday we had students sporting college gear from near and far for homecoming. Go Bulldogs!






We finished our homecoming assemblies and had our traditional parade Friday. Our Homecoming King is Troy Hooper and Queen is Macy Langrehr. It was a great week of school spirit and fun!

Volleyball hosted Reardon this week and played a close match with them. The Bulldogs are steadily improving and getting ready for the post season.





Homecoming is fast approaching. It is the week of October 7-11. The game is Friday night at 7:00 pm and the dance is Saturday night at 8:00pm. Students are already getting pumped up and making plans. Go Bulldogs!


The FCCLA blood drive was today. Their schedule was fully booked! Congratulations to our students and community for supporting this and helping to save lives!




Friday Night Lights! Our first home football game was Friday night and the boys played a tough defensive battle with Liberty. Liberty ended up winning 7-6. It was an another step forward for the program to play so well defensively. The next home game is Homecoming on October 11.





Kettle had a hard fought Volleyball match with the St. George's Dragons on Tuesday. The Bulldogs won the first set but ended up losing the match in the fifth and final set. We are proud of all of the hard work that our athletes are putting into the season.





Horticulture class had a guest lecturer today. Doug Johnson was with our students teaching them about beekeeping and honey production. Doug has travelled to Africa and South America teaching about bees.










Physics class is comparing velocity and position graphs of thrown, bounced, and dropped balls to calculate the acceleration of each.






In Biology class they are learning how to write scientific hypotheses based on observations. Mrs. Usher had two great demonstrations in class today to solidify the concepts in students minds.






The Kettle Falls soccer team played Davenport yesterday. It was great to see the hard work our ladies put into the effort. Davenport prevailed but our athletes continue to improve and show their dedication. Go Bulldogs!
