A few lucky students were randomly chosen from the audience. Students were cheered on by their classmates as they battled against the teachers. The teachers enjoyed a friendly but competitive match. Laughter and playful banter filled the gym showing off school spirit and fun!

KFMS celebrated Halloween in style this year! Both staff and students got into the festive spirit by wearing creative costumes that showcased their personalities. The highlight of the celebration was the parade featuring the transitional kindergartners dressed as everything from superheroes to adorable animals. These little ones proudly marched through the school, bringing smiles and excitement to everyone!

KFMS just finished their annual fund raiser. Overall the students sold over 1,000 items that totaled $18,209. Our top seller was Camden Holford who sold over $2,500! Mrs. Edwards' advisory had the highest percentage of sellers and earned donuts. Twenty nine students sold 17 or more items to earn a Lock In Party where students get to stay late at school. Thank you to the students and community for supporting our school.

Water Walk
To practice empathy while reading A Long Walk To Water, the 7th graders walked a mile with a gallon of water. Some were able to maintain it on top of their heads for a while, and others found it challenging to hold the water comfortably the further they went in the walk. Only two managed to hold it on their heads for the entire mile!
