
Mr. Jones' Advanced PE classes at the high school are out working on their golf swings.




Kettle Falls volleyball was visited by Reardon last night. It was a tough first set that Reardon won 26-24. The Bulldogs played great all night! Their next game is Thursday at St. George's.







The US Navy was here at the high school visiting. The recruiter was giving away water bottles if you could do enough pushups.





Shop classes are in full swing at KFHS! Mr. Axtell's classes teach kids skills they can use for the rest of their lives.




Friday night we had our first home football game! There was a great crowd, the cheerleaders were awesome, and the Pep band was there. It was a fun game to watch our boys play their hearts out! Go Bulldogs!

In Commercial Photography class students are learning about the basics of picture composition from Ms. Maier. Soon they will be able to check out a camera and put their learning into practice.



Soccer had their first home game of the season. They are a very young team but have lots of potential.

Cross Country had their first meet of the year on Tuesday. It was a great start to their season!

Music Rental Night!
House of music will be hosting an instrument rental night for Kettle Falls September 7th at 5:00 PM at Kettle Falls High School. Here you can sign up for a rent to own instrument of your choice and purchase cleaning supplies! Remember to please check with Mr. Scharbrough about the instrument of choice when school starts or by emailing him at jscharbrough@kfschools.org.


Notes from the School Nurse:
If your child has had any changes to their health over the summer, such as developed asthma, food allergy, bee sting allergy, diabetes, etc. please notify the school nurse at 509-640-1348.
All preschool and TK students who will be 4 years of age on September 1, 2023 must provide immunization records showing they have received the booster dose of Dtap, IVP, MMR and Varicella vaccine or submit a signed exemption. They will not be allowed to start school until this requirement has been met.
All 7th grade students must have Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccine or a signed exemption turned into the Middle School Office BEFORE they can start school on September 6, 2023.
All students with Emergency Care Plans for Life-threatening health issues, please submit your completed plan to your child's school office on or before the first day of school, September 6th.


Adrianna Ericksen qualified to represent Washington Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) at national leadership competition. She traveled to Denver, Colorado to join FCCLA members from around the nation July 1 - 7. In addition to competing, she was able to participate in leadership development activities. She competed in Job Interview and earned a silver medal. Congratulations Adrianna!




Leaders in the Senior class at Kettle Falls High helped Elementary students spread bark during Better World Day




We are offering a FREE CDL class to anyone who will commit to subbing at least one day per week for a year at Kettle Falls School District.

You need to go to the DOL and get the free CDL book, study and then take the written test to get your permit.
