On Monday four animal experts from WDFW visited our 4th-grade students as part of their Expedition, Module 2: Animal Defense Mechanisms study. Students had an incredible opportunity to learn directly from the experts about how animals protect themselves in the wild!

🎄✨ Our 4th graders got creative this holiday season by designing beautiful Christmas centerpieces to share with their families! 🎁 Their hard work and festive spirit truly shine through.

🎄✨ Holiday Spirit in Full Swing! ✨🎄
Our elementary school hallways are bursting with creativity and holiday cheer! 🥳 Staff and students have outdone themselves this year with beautifully decorated classroom doors that showcase festive spirit and imagination.
🗳️ Judging Day is here! Our panel is made the rounds to pick the most decked-out doors, but we all know every door is a winner when it spreads smiles and joy. The decision was hard, but congratulations to Mr. Smith's class, your fireplace door was outstanding!

Exciting news! For the first time, Kettle Falls Elementary participated in the VFW Writing Contest, and Ms. Franko's 4th graders shined!
They wrote inspiring essays about honoring Veterans, earning certificates and a chance to win scholarship money. We’re so proud of their thoughtful work! 🇺🇸👏 #KettleFallsPride #StudentSuccess #WritingContest

Today, one of our first-grade classes brought the Thanksgiving spirit to life with their very own Macy’s Day Parade! The students proudly showed off the colorful balloons they created as they paraded through the front office, spreading smiles and holiday cheer. 🦃

Star Students Shine on Their First Field Trip! 🌟
Our Star Program students had an unforgettable day at Kip's Gymnastics! This special outing, inspired by a thoughtful suggestion from one of our staff members, was all about giving students a chance to enjoy jumping, racing, and helping one another on the trampolines.
For one third-grade student, it was extra special—it was his first-ever bus ride! He eagerly watched the world pass by through the window both to and from Kip's. 🚌✨
After all the fun, students shared a lunch together in a designated area, showing great teamwork by lining up when it was time to head back.

Our students at Kettle Falls Elementary are embracing the season of fall! We had classes kick things off with an apple-themed unit, where they learned about different types of apples, read books about them, and even enjoyed some warm apple cider.
We also had students participate in a pumpkin-themed unit, filled with hands-on activities like carving, measuring, and counting pumpkin seeds. It was a fun and engaging way for them to learn while celebrating the fall season.
Happy Fall, Kettle Falls Families! 🍂 We hope you’re enjoying the cooler weather and autumn traditions just as much as we are.
