Kettle Falls High School

KFHS teacher Stephanie Tetrick received the lifetime Achievement Award in Family Consumer Science from the Association for Career and Technical Education this past summer. She has been teaching at KFHS for 23 years and teaches classes like Foods, Textiles, Career Choices, Health, Baking, all centered around Family Consumer Science. Stephanie knew she had a passion for both teaching and FCS in college and the practical life skills that it teaches. She was nominated for the award by a former student who Stephanie inspired to become a FCS teacher like her. Congratulations!
