Several of our talented young ladies at Kettle Falls High School had the opportunity to attend the event, "Women in Engineering," hosted by the University of Idaho as part of the GEAR UP program. The event allowed KFHS girls to delve into the world of engineering and computer science. They participated in hands-on activities focused on the field of engineering. Further, Senior and junior attendees were awarded a chance to earn a $500 scholarship towards their undergraduate degree in engineering. Moreover, the ladies had the privilege to tour the university's state-of-the-art labs and learning spaces, offering them a glimpse into the vibrant student life at the University of Idaho. We couldn't be prouder of our young engineers and are excited to see their bright futures unfold!
