Recently, KFMS ASB students presented to the Kettle Falls School Board about their work analyzing school culture survey data. Throughout the spring, students reviewed survey results focused on belonging, safety, and peer interactions using an "I Notice, I Wonder, Next Steps" process to identify areas for growth and develop solutions.
During their presentation, students shared how they helped guide Advisory lessons and gathered additional feedback from their peers. Through this work, they identified "sense of belonging" as a key area of focus and discussed ways students, staff, and future ASB members can help every student feel welcomed, connected, and valued at KFMS.
The presentation provided students with an opportunity to have a voice in the leadership of their school while demonstrating the positive impact that student feedback can have on school culture. We are proud of our ASB students for representing their peers and sharing their vision for making KFMS a place where everyone belongs.
