Our Christmas celebration at KFMS continues to be a highlight of the school year, with festive fun filling the halls all week long. Students and staff have been enjoying daily holiday dress-up days, spreading cheer, laughter, and school spirit as we count down to winter break. The excitement builds throughout the week and leads up to one of our favorite traditions—the Advisory Christmas Door Competition.
During this event, advisory classes team up with their teachers to decorate their classroom doors in creative and imaginative ways. This year’s designs did not disappoint! Doors featured themes such as The Polar Express, a playful Yeti, Candy Land, a twist on a Grinch-themed book, and even LeBron James making a slam dunk—with a cookie. The creativity, teamwork, and humor on display truly transformed our hallways into a winter wonderland.
Adding to the fun, our neighboring TTK students served as the official judges. They carefully visited each door, often greeted by “door elves” offering Hershey Kisses or a special story just for them. After much deliberation, the TTK judges selected Candy Cane, Snowman, and Candy Land as their top three favorites. This joyful event brings together our big and little students in such a special way, reminding us that the holidays are about creativity, connection, and celebrating together.
