Transitional Kindergarten has started this fall at Kettle Falls Elementary. The students range in age from four and a half to five years of age. The program is meant for students that do not make the fall deadline of being five by September first, which is a requirement in a traditional kindergarten class.
A little bit preschool and a little bit kindergarten, students get to experience school in a fun and creative way, making the transition into kindergarten a smooth one. This fall they have worked on school routines, families, and school communities. They have danced, played, explored watercolors, and practiced their name. As the year progresses it will be exciting to see all the things they can do!
