On Tuesday November 20th, we had Grandparents’ Lunch in the Kettle Falls Elementary School cafeteria. It’s called Grandparents’ lunch, but anyone can come. The menu was turkey gravy over mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, fruit salad, bread, cranberry sauce, a cookie and milk. It was like an early Thanksgiving. The school served 453 people for Grandparents’ Lunch. This was a time to celebrate what are you thankful for, which includes family, food, and life.
