KFES Helps Pay It Forward

Students at Kettle Falls Elementary School participated in service to support Casey McKern’s Pay It Forward Foundation.  In preparation for the annual Balls and Chain Walleye Tournament, the 2ndand 4thgrade helped put together goodie bags for the ladies. The 4thgrade was in charge of designing the bags.  In CREW Club they learned the art of photography.  Then, they practiced their skills by taking pictures on their last adventure to Sherman Pass.  The 4thgrades used the pictures to decorate the goodie bags.  The 2ndgraders were in charge of stuffing the bags with their goodies.  Ensuring high quality work, they carefully worked together to make sure each bag had every special item.  These goodie bags are enjoyed by many ladies that may, or may not fish.  The kids at KFES take pride in knowing they are helping out in a very big way.
