Principal's Corner

KFMS Principal Mrs. Vining

Welcome to Kettle Falls Middle School!

From the Desk of Principal Tracy Vining

It’s my privilege to welcome you to Kettle Falls Middle School—a place where academic excellence and strong character go hand in hand. Our school has a proud tradition of helping students grow not just in knowledge, but as thoughtful, responsible, and kind individuals.

At KFMS, we live by a clear goal:

We demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and teamwork—building a sense of belonging, a growth mindset, and a deep appreciation for service in our lives, schools, and community.

Our staff is committed to this mission every day. Through the Character Strong curriculum, students are encouraged to collaborate, appreciate differences, solve problems, and lead with empathy. These skills support success in the classroom, in athletics, and beyond—preparing our students for lifelong learning and leadership.

You may have seen the Kettle Falls School District billboard that reads:
Kettle Strong ~ One Team ~ One Family ~ One Community.
As a lifelong resident of Kettle Falls, these words mean everything to me. We want every student and every family to feel valued and welcomed from the moment they walk through our doors.

Whether you’re new to our school or have been part of our community for years, I invite you to visit, get involved, and see what it truly means to be Kettle Strong.

Warmly,
Tracy Vining
Principal, Kettle Falls Middle School
