Our 1,000 link chain went from our classroom to the middle of the lunchroom. "1,000 is long!"

Mrs. Rubin's English class wrote stories using our 7 Habits.  They came and read them to the 2nd Graders. Thank you High Schoolers.  It was great fun!!

What does a 1,000 look like?  Making 1's to 10's and 10's to 100 bundles. Finally, 100's to 1,000! Total sticks 1091!

 How many inches is Piper?  How many feet? How many yards?

 How many inches do you think Mrs. Smith is???  How many feet? Yards???

We persevered when snowshoeing up the trail then had fun sliding down the sand hill on the way back.

 We're excited to get new CREW shirts for the year.

Second Graders presented their pollinator writing to seniors. Second graders had to present with a loud and clear voice.  Make eye contact and be able to answer questions about their pollinator.   The seniors gave each student feedback on how to be an effective speaker.
