Welcome Home!I create welcoming experiences that instill a sense of family.Welcome Home! means that each of us will do our best to create welcoming experiences with everyone we see in and around our schools. When we notice someone in the hallway, outside, on the field, in the parking lot and throughout town, we will strive to instill a sense of family by waving, talking, or simply smiling.Orange is used for Welcome Home! Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, and encouragement. This page explains what Welcome Home! means, what it looks like, and where it is happening. This page contains links to videos, resources and a recognition blog that staff can use to recognize others who demonstrate this core belief that we have in Kettle Falls. We believe that school culture is made up of experiences, beliefs and actions that we have on a daily basis with students, staff, parent and community members. We know that school culture can be improved. It is our goal to create the types of experiences that ultimately lead to our desired results--community support and district growth!

Mrs. Box Welcome Home!
Email from a parent who over heard from their student: "The sixth graders have it so good because they have Mrs. Box first thing in the morning. It's just like home there every day. You can even leave your stuff there during PE because you just come back right after PE and your stuff is still there. She keeps it safe for you and welcomes you back. I wish I had known it was such a good thing when I was in 6th grade."
