Ms. Caroline Munds
I am delighted to be a part of the amazing community of learners at Kettle Falls Elementary. I am from Northeast Washington and graduated from Colville High School. Then I attended Washington State University where I earned a bachelor of arts degree in merchandising and marketing. I started my elementary education journey in 2013 when I went back to school to earn a master’s degree in elementary education. During my time at Metropolitan State University, Denver, I worked at the Auraria Early Learning Center on campus. For the duration of my master's, I taught students from ages three to five years old. After I finished my degree in 2015, I started working as a 3rd-grade teacher at Farrell B. Howell Elementary in Colorado. I spent two years there growing as an educator and helping English language learners. In 2017, I wanted to be closer to my family and decided to move back to Washington State and my first choice was Kettle Falls Elementary. I am in my fourth year teaching at Kettle Falls Elementary. I taught third grade during the 2017-2018 school year and I am now in my third year of teaching kindergarten.

In class, I expect students to make mistakes, learn, and grow not only academically but also emotionally. We work on creating a school family of learners and focus on feeling safe, connected, and responsible. I am here to create a caring community of learners through the use of song, movement, visuals.
