Mrs. Pippin Rubin
High School English/Humanities
Welcome!
I grew up on a small farm outside of Tonasket where I went to school from K-12. After graduating, I went to EWU and got my teaching degree. For eight years, I taught English and social studies at Medical Lake High School. Then I quit to raise a family. While home with my kiddos, I went back to Eastern and got a Master’s degree in History and Anthropology (so I can be an archaeologist when I grow up). My first year at KFHS has been totally AWESOME, and I look forward to many more.

Class Expectations:
As for my classroom expectations, I expect my students to work and play as hard as I do, always give me 110%, treat others with the respect they deserve, have an open mind, and see failure as a learning opportunity and not as a dead end. Thank you for the privilege of working with your children.
