    5th Grade
I was a Kettle Falls graduate along with my parents and grandparents. Becoming a teacher was always a goal of mine, I just waited until after I had a family to achieve it. My husband Dave works in the local timber industry and we have two amazing daughters. Haley just graduated and is heading to University of Idaho for her first year of college and Katie is getting ready for her junior year of high school. We enjoy basically anything outdoors such as camping, jeeping, hunting, and just spending time with family.

    Class Expectations
This school year will be my first year as the 5th grade humanities teacher. It is exciting to have the opportunity to teach my students the importance of reading and writing while also exploring US history. I believe that every student in my class deserves to be presented with the very best education, but at the same time I expect my students to take a proactive role and responsibility of their learning and to become the very best that they can be. The power of positive reinforcement and motivation are key in my teaching style and I make sure all of my students know they are loved and respected in my classroom.
