    Mr. Cameron Stewart

    Welcome!
I am new to the Kettle Falls School District.  This is my first year teaching Elementary PE/Adventure and my second year as the KFHS Varisty Boys Basketball Coach.  Previously, I taught Middle School Science in Snohomish, WA for 12 years.  I have held other professional postions such as Wildfire Dispatch Operations Corodinator for DNR, as well as Operations Manager in the tour and transportation industry.

My family and I moved to Kettle Falls in 2016.  My wife, Debbie Stewart, teaches English at KFHS.  My oldest son (6 yo) attends Kindergarten at KFE, so we get to spend extra quality time together each school day. We also have twins (2 yo) who will be in school before we know it.  We are thrilled to be a part of KFSD and the community at large.  It is an honor and a pleasure to make a difference and rise our children in Kettle Falls.

My outdoor hobbies are hiking/backpacking, paddle boarding, jogging, fly-fishing and surfing occasionally.  I am also a huge basketball and football fan, always loyal to my alma mater, the UW Huskies, as well as the Seattle Seahawks.  On a daily basis, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, exercising, reading and eating good food.

I am committed to building a high quality PE program that engages students, develops skills and understanding, promotes character and supports students to meet their health and fitness goals.  In collaboration with the KFE Adventure Team, I am excitied to create enriching experiences for our students, as they learn the value of exploration, resilience, taking risks and environmental service/stewardship.
